Dystopian and Post-Apocalyptic Book Recommendations for 2022
Paige at PopTheButterfly takes a look at her favorite books in the post-apocalyptic genre. I usually love these lists, mainly to compare notes with other avid readers, but Paige sums it up quite nicely with this: “I don’t know what it is about the world ending that makes me be like, ‘Oh yeah, this my jam.'” Some of her favorites include Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One and This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada.

Shawn has been infatuated with the post-apocalyptic genre since he wore out his horribly American-dubbed VHS of the original Mad Max as a child. Shawn is the former Editor-in-Chief at Massively.com, creator of the Aftermath post-apocalyptic immersion event, and author of "AI For All," a guide to navigating this strange new world of artificial intelligence.
He currently resides on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with his wife and four children.
