The Handmaid’s Tale is back with its fifth season, and already we have so many questions about what June’s future will hold. With the first two episodes dropped, we can hardly wait for the next one, which begs the question: Where is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 3? Read below to learn more.
Where Can I Find Episode 3 of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale?
Unlike last year, when the first three episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale were released at the same time, only the first two were dropped last night on Hulu. We even made a tentative schedule of the show when it was first announced, predicting that the last episode would air on November 9. Since then, IMDB has dropped some information, but we’re pretty much left in the dark, officially speaking. Even Hulu has limited info about the schedule.
With that being said, Episode 3 of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 will be available on September 21, one week from the premiere. Every following episode should drop on a weekly basis from then, with the possibility of skipping a week for any holiday.
So on Wednesday, September 21, you can watch the new episode on Hulu at 12 a.m. Eastern. In the Central time zone, you can catch it at 11 p.m. on Tuesday. If you’re on the West Coast (Pacific time zone), look for it at 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Or any time that you check on Wednesday, it’ll be there!
Regardless of the schedule, fans are really excited about this season, just like this Redditor, who admitted they had forgotten some details in Season 4 that might be relevant to the new season.
Some had rewatched Season 4 and were also hit with a lot of emotions as they went through it.
(possibly spoiler) I’m rewhatching this, and holy fuck from TheHandmaidsTale
What is Season 5 About?
The Handmaid’s Tale Fandom Wiki lists the synopsis for Season 5 as follows: “June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Nick and Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.”
This will definitely be an edge-of-your-seat, intense season. And with news of Season 6 being renewed for its final season, we will be biting our own nails off with every episode.
In the same article by Variety, Craig Erwich, president of ABC Entertainment, Hulu and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals, stated: “Five years ago, almost to the day, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ made history when it became the first show to win an Emmy for a streaming service. In the time since, it has been a privilege and pleasure to work with some of the finest creative talent in our industry on this show – a distinct and exceptional group of people who continue to produce the highest quality television that has made and continues to make significant cultural impact. Bruce, Warren, Lizzie and the entire team at MGM have been amazing partners, and we hope fans enjoy these last two seasons.”
Do you have any idea of how Season 5 is going to end before its final season? It’s almost impossible to predict!
