Moses J. Moseley, a rising young actor from South Carolina, was found dead in Georgia, according to confirmed reports.

Moseley, who is perhaps best known as one of Michonne’s pet walkers in several seasons of The Walking Dead, was only 31 years old.

The actor’s rep, Tabatha Minchew, confirmed the actor’s death in a statement. “Everyone loved Moses. He never met a stranger. He loved his fans as much as his family and friends. He was always excited to get auditions and work.”

“He was the kind of person who you could call in the middle of the night if you needed to talk or needed anything. He will be deeply missed by so many, his friends, family, costars and fans,” she continued.

Moseley started his career with 2012’s Joyful Noise but made his big break in The Walking Dead. He was featured in 6 episodes from 2012 to 2015. He has enjoyed regular work since that role, including stints in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Watchmen.

Not only was Moseley’s character memorable for fans, but he was also a regular on the convention circuit. He even had his own action figure!

The actor’s body was found with a gunshot wound near the Hudson Bridge in Stockbridge, Georgia after being reported missing for several days. Although TMZ is currently reporting that the actor’s death is suspected to be a suicide, nothing has been confirmed at this time. Police are currently investigating a motive.

UPDATE 2/4/22: Moseley’s family is saying that they believe Moses was kidnapped and murdered.
