The closed beta for Tencent’s upcoming post-apocalyptic MMO Undawn has been announced for April 3rd, and a new trailer gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from the survival RPG.
What is Undawn?
The game is set four years after a global disaster wiped everything out. Players will battle hordes of infected hordes in PvE content and each other in PvP to survive the wasteland.
While the trailer doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay, the game’s description explains that you’ll be able to form alliances with other players, build bases, and fight both the living and the undead.
The game is also said to be played in third person view with a vast open world to explore. The game’s website shows drivable cars and a gigantic map that includes everything snowy mountains to scorching deserts.
Players will also get a choice of weapons to use in the game, including shotguns, assault rifles, crossbows, and your favorite spiky melee weapons for bashing in zombie skulls.
The AnonymousYT YouTube channel got a first look at the mobile version of the game, which you can check out below. It shows off some of the mobile version’s gameplay and graphics, which look quite impressive. Unfortunately, the video is not in English, so we couldn’t tell you what was being said in the game, but it still looks great for a mobile game.
The developers at Level Infinite and LightSpeed Studios say that access to this closed beta will be limited, so you’ll need to head over to the sign-up page quickly if you want to participate!
Undawn will be available later this year for PC, Android, and iOS platforms.
