UFO sightings continue to reach mainstream news, but often it’s just the ones in the United States that get a lot of coverage. However, Canada hosts a publicly available reporting system for strange sightings, and a treasure trove of unknown craft can be found in the records. From triangle-shaped UFOs to spheres with blue halos, the reports are intriguing and point to a realm of unknown possibilities. Post Apocalyptic Media has just uncovered even more reports, including a sighting of a UFO 50 times bigger than an airplane, and a sighting of UFOs shooting green lasers.

The reports can be found in an online aviation incident database called CADORS (short for The Civil Aviation Daily Occurrence Reporting System.) CADORS is overseen by Canada’s federal transportation department, Transport Canada Civil Aviation. CADORS was launched back in 1985 and provides valuable information about aviation incidents. These reports provide a wealth of useful information about recent and historical sightings.

An official Canadian database has a report of an orange #UFO 50-times bigger than an aircraft, and of UFOs shooting green lasers. Read them here. Share on X

An Orange UFO ’50 Times Bigger Than an Aircraft’ Was Seen Hovering Over a Lake

In January 2011 (more precisely, on New Year’s Day), CADORS report #2011O0003 describes a sighting in the Bridgenorth, Ontario region of Canada. The impressively large UFO was orange in color and hovered over a lake (as other sightings have seen UFOs do in the past too.)

The report reads: “A UFO sighting was reported. The occurrence was on January 1, 2011 at 12:20 AM EST. The object was reported to be circular in size, ’50 times bigger than an aircraft’ and glowed a bright orange colour. The position seemed to be over Chemong Lake, near the town of Bridgenorth, north of Peterborough. The object was seen hovering quite quickly back and forth just above the tree line before making a fast departure and disappearing.”

15 ‘Aggressive’ UFOs the Size of a Football Field Were Seen Shooting Green Lasers

In another very strange CADORS report (#2010P1963), 15 or more UFOs “the size of a football field” were reportedly seen shooting green lasers. They were seen 20 feet above a high rise in Burnaby, British Columbia on December 31, 2010. It’s worth noting that since this was on New Year’s Eve, there’s always a chance it was something else related to the festivities of the night. But the same person called later, indicating there were now 50 UFOs zooming around the Burnaby Mountain and Metrotown regions. Could these have been drones? Were drone shows even common at all back in 2010?

The report read: “Kamloops FIC filed a CIRVIS report, following receipt of a phone call at 0450z from an individual in Burnaby who reported observing 15+ UFO’s. Report indicated the UFO’s were approximately the size of a football field and they were shooting green laser beams and dropping green balls of light. Objects were reported as being 20 feet above their high-rise. At 0543z a second call from the same person was received. He now indicated “there were about 50 UFO’s, some landing at Burnaby Mountain and some at Metrotown. They were reported as zooming around quickly but not shooting anymore and that they appeared to be getting really aggressive.”

4 UFOs With Orange Lights Were SEen in Brantford

In July 2011, an off-duty tower controller reported seeing four objects with orange lights, but the objects weren’t of any distinguishable shape. (Could they have been hazy like some other UFO sightings?) The CADORS report #2011O1720 notes that they were seen flying over Brantford separately before joining together at about 3,000 feet, and they made no noise.

The full report reads: “NAV CANADA staff at Hamilton Tower reported that they had received a report of a possible UFO sighting from an off-duty controller living in Brantford. The controller reported observing four (4) objects of no distinguishable shape with round, orange lights which flew over Brantford individually and then joined together and flew off. There was no noise associated with the objects. Estimated altitude 3,000 feet. Nothing was observed on radar.”

A Black Rugby Ball-Sized Object Was Seen Closre to the Ground

This next sighting, CADORS #2017P1732, is a little different than the others. It’s from September 2017 and took place during the day, which is unusual in and of itself. This one was reported from a resident leaving in Prince Rupert, who said an object “the size and shape of a rugby ball,” but black in color, was seen less than 100 feet above the ground, flying over their house.

The full report reads: “Kamloops, BC (CYKA) flight information centre (FIC) received a unidentified flying object (UFO) report from a house 2NM southeast of Prince Rupert (CYPR). A concerned citizen reported a black object the size and shape of a rugby ball moved quickly west to east above their house, less that 100 feet above the ground. Area control centre (ACC) Shift Manager was advised.”

The occurrence was classified This was labeled as a “weather balloon, meteor, rocket, CIRVIS/UFO.”

It’s not just citizens reporting strange UFO encounters. CTV News reported that in 2023 alone, CADORS had 17 reports of strange UFO encounters from pilots.
