After 11 years, the last season (11c) of The Walking Dead is almost here, which means it’s time to start thinking about farewell watch-party ideas. This is your one-stop shop for really amusing ideas and recipes for party decorations, whether you want to celebrate the conclusion of the series by hosting a party for your friends to celebrate the end of the series, or you plan to hold watch parties throughout the final season.

Create a Walking Dead Memorial

A popular option we’ve suggested for previous seasons is to ask all your friends to write down who they think will die as the last season airs, or during the episode you’re hosting the party for. Then have a The Walking Dead prize for whoever wins!

You definitely can’t leave this out of your plans, considering how many characters passed away over the previous season. The picture you see here is part of a memorial that was popular on Pinterest during a previous year’s season. Create your own list, keeping it current with the most recent fatalities, and be sure to leave at least one spot open for the first episode. Create some prints of our favourite characters who are still with us today. After the episode is complete, you may have a little moment of reflection and then attach the photograph to the poster.

Host a Drinking and/or Bingo Game

There have been countless TWD drinking games over the past few years, so it would be really easy to create one by being inspired by one of the many existing games and simply updating it to this season’s details.

For example, you could take a sip of your drink whenever:

  • Daryl grunts
  • A walker takes a headshot
  • Maggie fights with Negan
  • A walker dies
  • A human character dies

The list goes on! Be creative.

Always remember to drink responsibly! Have your Uber app handy in case someone needs a ride home after the end of the episode.

As far as Bingo games go, there have been some pre-made ones on websites like bingobaker.com which you can easily edit and share with your friends! You’ll simply have to go to the link, click on “clone” and enter your own ideas for the bingo board. Prizes can include anything from the Walking Dead items below, or just for bragging rights.

You might also want to invest in these Walkers See No Evil statues as part of your decor. They will fit right at home for the entire season and all other TWD spin-offs!

Another great idea is giving your guests a Negan Mug. Can’t go wrong with a nice cup of tea out of a Negan mug! Watch the handle though. Lucille might bite.

Or use the Walker Heat Changing Mug as a fun party favor. This mug reveals a walker when you pour your favorite hot beverage into it. How neat!

Walking Dead Watch Party Recipes

An unnamed and since deleted Pinterest user posted a picture of tombstone-shaped cookies with the names of characters who died on the show, and it’s so creative! Grab your favorite cookie recipe, or even bake some premade ones, and easily create the same.

A little while ago, AMC released their own Walking Dead Cookbook, which contained a recipe for Carol’s Cookies. How cool is this?! You can follow the recipe here
