The Last of Us ended on a sharp note last week, not really answering most of our questions. Now that episode 9 is over with, where is The Last of Us episode 10? Well… you might be saddened to hear the next few words…

The Last of Us Episode 10 Does Not Exist

That’s right. Last week’s episode was the last in its first season. Episode 9, titled “Look for the Light”, was the show’s finale and sent people down an emotional roller coaster. And now Twitter is learning that we’ll have to wait until season 2 before we can see Joel and Ellie again, and possibly meet some new favorite characters.

A second season has been confirmed by Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann earlier this year, so there’s at least that to hold onto.

What Made This Show so Successful?

For those who might not know, “The Last of Us” is a popular video game that was turned into a TV show with the same name. The story takes place in a world where a fungal outbreak has killed most people and left only a few people trying to stay alive. The show follows Joel, a hardened survivor, and Ellie, a teenage girl with a rare immunity to the virus, as they travel across the ruins of America, facing danger and moral questions along the way.

One of the main reasons people liked “The Last of Us” on HBO so much was because of how well it was told. Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, who made the show, stayed true to the original story of the game while also adding to the characters and world. The story of the series is deep and complicated, and it looks at love, loss, and surviving in a harsh world that truly doesn’t care about you.

The cast’s amazing work is another reason why the show has been so popular. Pedro Pascal plays Joel and Bella Ramsey plays Ellie. Their chemistry and acting skills have been praised by many people.

The Last of Us also stands out because of how well it was made. The cinematography, visual effects, and set design of the show all help to make it a visceral and immersive experience to watch. The show’s gritty and realistic depiction of a world after the end of the world and its emotional depth make it a gripping and unforgettable experience to watch. It also talks about important things like morality, ethics, and what it means to be human. By showing how trauma and loss affect the characters, the show displays how strong the human spirit is and how important hope and connection are when things don’t go as planned.

The Last of Us has a large fan base and gets good reviews from viewers because it has a great story, great acting, high production values, and explores important themes. Rotten Tomatoes shows that the series has an outstanding 96% rating and a 89% average audience score. It’s no wonder why think that this season has gone by way too quickly! We need more!

But unfortunately, we’ll have to wait just a little… In the meantime, maybe you can give a shot at the video games to reconnect with your favorite characters!

User @8bit_Snazzy on Twitter sure did think that non-gamers discovering the video game series just now is a bit ridiculous… but personally, I think that’s a wonderful thing that now connects us!
