It will soon be time to bid farewell to our favourite characters as Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale draws to a close. Every episode and news update has kept us on the edge of our seats this entire season. After this past episode, we are left to wonder: how will everything conclude? Hopefully, this finale will answer more questions than it will cause. Here is when the finale of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale will premiere. The times are shown below.
The Season 5 Finale Will be Available Tuesday Night or Early Wednesday Morning
The finale of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale, or Episode 10 titled “Safe”, will broadcast on Hulu at midnight Eastern time on November 9. Not too comfortable with figuring out time zones? Here are the times, from coast to coast, and a bullet list to keep everything clear:
- Eastern time: 12 a.m. Wednesday, November 9th
- Central time: 11 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th
- Mountain time: 10 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th
- Pacific time: 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th
- Alaska: 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th
People on the West Coast and in Hawaii are thus more likely to watch the finale before bed than to stay up late. Those who are lucky may be able to see the show on Tuesday evening, while others may have to wait until Wednesday. One thing is clear, however: avoid reading spoilers! Or try to, at least. Not everyone on the internet is going to be nice and keep spoilers away from social media platforms. Stay spoiler-free!
How to Watch S5E10 Online
Hulu contains the most current episodes if you need to catch up on missed ones. The tenth and final episode of the fifth season of The Handmaid’s Tale is pretty much the same of the previous nine.
Checking in to the Hulu website and doing a search may lead you to “The Handmaid’s Tale.” If you so want, you may immediately begin Season 5. If you have watched the previous nine episodes, you may skip ahead to the finale.
(If you are positive that Episode 10 has been released but it does not appear in the menu, you may find it as follows: If you watch Episode 9 and fast-forward to the conclusion, Hulu will transfer you to Episode 10 if it is available.)
The Handmaid’s Tale is not accessible on Netflix or any other streaming service, including Amazon Video or YouTube. At the very least, over an extended period of time. This makes perfect sense given that The Handmaid’s Tale is a Hulu original series.
If you do not already have Hulu, you may immediately join up for a monthly subscription. When Live TV and Disney+ are grouped together, one of the available packages becomes a very attractive alternative. Students might also potentially subscribe to Hulu for $2.99 per month. What Happened Last Week

Below is a quick recap with spoilers from Season 5 Episode 9.
The rescue attempt that was going to save Hannah ended up failing, and it seems like this was Commander Lawrence’s doing. A friendly pilot we met before the mission was among the casualties. And though they’re heartbroken, June and Luke are not giving up.
The video that June had received provided a tip on where Hannah was being kept, but Gilead was ready with anti-aircraft missiles in that location. Lawrence hinted that he was the one behind all of that, and wanted June to come on over to New Bethlehem, while also making a public statement that made Gilead look like a victim. June wouldn’t go for any of that, and now she’s all-in with helping Tuello.
Lawrence is still trying to reform Gilead from the inside and save humanity, but he made a misstep when it came to June.
Serena, meanwhile, escaped the Wheelers yet again, but this time with baby Noah. She hid in a woman’s car and took off. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens next with her.
On top of all of that, Lawrence and Naomi Putnam married. And Nick told June he can’t accept Tuello’s offer, and it looked like they said goodbye permanently.
But in this universe, nothing is every really permanent, it seems. We’ve got two trailers for the finale here if you want to check them out.
