So you’ve got your watch party ready, your friends and family are over, or it’s just you and your favorite person… Or just you! Nothing wrong with that! If you’re looking to add a little extra fun to the first episode (or two!) of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 premiere, we’ve got you covered with some of the best drinking games and bingo ideas to add to this special night!
B-I-N-G-O Time!
We’ve created a bingo card you can download (you can open this in a different window) so that you can easily print it away and hand it off to your guests. Alternatively, you can also download this Handmaid’s Tale Bingo card image onto your phone or tablet of choice and simply mark off the selections with your favourite drawing app!
If you use the website instead, you can clone this card and mix the words around, sharing them with your friends. It’s much more fun to have different cards, of course! But if you plan on watching the first episodes on your own, that one card will do!
Remember that any of the drinking game phrases included in the section below can also be added to your Bingo cards instead, if you want more options!
Raise Your Glass!
If you are of drinking age, this drinking game is going to keep the evening entertaining. We suggest taking sips of drinks, as taking shots will pretty much require you to have poison control on speed dial the entire night, and we want to avoid that, don’t we?
Take a sip when:
- June gets an extreme close-up

- Anytime there is indistinct radio chatter
- Serena’s pregnancy is mentioned
- Someone talks about the Commander’s death
- Serena pretends to be sad about being a widow
- Tuello kind of looks like he’s hitting on Serena
Take a BIG sip if:

What to Expect in Season 5
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 will premiere with two back-to-back episodes and fans are really excited to see what will happen to June this season. The synopsis of Season 5 reads “June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Nick and Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.”

We wrote an article about what we know so far, including rumors and speculations based on one of the trailers. But other than that, without having seen the first two episodes that will soon air, it’s still a very wide gamble.
Variety writes that this season is a comeback for the series. Author Daniel D’Addario writes: “Progressing the story admirably, June is now figuring out her next act, as a person who has freed herself, slain her enemy, and helped to jump-start a resistance that’s clearly winning. The scrappiness of the forces of good, and the surprising resilience of Gilead, generate interest, as does June’s restlessness: Who is she, years into her crusade, if she’s not fighting?…”
Others out there don’t have the best review for this fifth season, but we will have to see for ourselves.
What Happened in Season 4?
In last season’s finale, our reviewer Stephanie had one word to say. “WOW”, even saying that “The finale was disturbing, satisfying, and phenomenal.” One thing was for sure though, June & Luke’s disconnect was heartbreaking. As Stephanie puts it, “At the end of the episode when she (June) told Luke ‘five more minutes,’ it was the signal to the viewers that their relationship is over.”
