Streaming Chainsaw Man Episode 6 Online in the U.S.
Chainsaw Man Episode 6 drops in the U.S. at 9 a.m. Pacific/10 a.m. Mountain/11 a.m. Central/12 P.M. Eastern on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. It shouldn’t be airing any earlier than that, even though we recently had a time change, a Crunchyroll rep told Post Apocalyptic Media. (However, they did add that there’s always a chance this might change at the last minute.)
On top of that, there’s a small chance that Episode 6 (and Episode 6 alone) might actually drop at 9:10 a.m. Pacific this week only. That’s because it’s dropping 10 minutes late when it airs on TV in Japan, according to the official Chainsaw Man website. It’s not clear at this time how that will affect subtitled versions (or if it will.) But be prepared for the episode to possibly be 10 minutes late this week.
In the U.S., there are only two legal options for streaming: Hulu and Crunchyroll. It’s not on Funimation or Netflix in the U.S. And while some subs are dropping on Amazon, they’re on a delayed schedule. So you won’t be able to find the new sub on Amazon Prime today either.
Below you’ll find links with details on how you can catch Episode 6 for free, if you’re interested in a free trial.

Episode 5 Recap of Chainsaw Man
You can read our full review of Episode 5 here, which is geared toward anime-only viewers, but a briefer recap is below.
There are spoilers below for Episode 5.
Makima manipulated Denji into agreeing to take on the Gun Devil by promising to sleep with him if he successfully kills the powerful foe. Of course, Denji immediately agreed to try. The whole conversation left me wondering how she’s manipulating the other members of the team…
We were also introduced to the Gun Devil, which is probably the most powerful Devil that we know of at this time. In less than five minutes, it killed 1.2 million people and hasn’t been seen since. But any Devil who eats a piece of the Gun Devil’s flesh grows extra powerful. (Could Denji possibly end up doing the same? Power has already shown interest, that’s for sure.)
Hayakawa’s backstory is explored more, and we learn that his family was killed by the Gun Devil. It’s a heartbreaking flashback.
In the final scenes, Division 4 gets together for the first time since Denji joined. Six agents are joining forces to hunt a devil that ate a piece of the Gun Devil and is now hiding in a hotel.
The woman with an eye patch is Himeno. She was working for Public Safety before Hayakawa joined, and had lost six partners before him. She gave away her eye in exchange for having access to the Ghost Devil’s arm.
The guy who looks older is Arai, who’s “not super competent” but is quite motivated. Kobeni is the name of the timid girl, who’s “got the moves” but is too scared most of the time.
The episode ended with the group realizing they’re stuck in the hotel, which is somehow being manipulated by a devil that’s hiding inside. Episode 6 is definitely going to be interesting.
