If you’ve ever wanted to combine your love of farming, base building, bounty hunting, and mech piloting into one game, Bounty Star might just be your next favorite game.

Developed by Dinogod and published by Annapurna (who also published the hit Stray), Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem is set in the “post-post apocalyptic” southwestern United States called the Red Expanse. You play as war veteran Clementine McKinney who is changing her old ways to become a “force for good” by hunting bounties in what looks to be a combination of Mad Max, Pacific Rim, and your favorite Western film.

The mechs themselves are highly customizable with various weapons and defense systems to upgrade and craft. These include everything from missile launchers, steam-powered hydraulic siege weapons, a laser sword, dash boosters and thrusters, riot shields, and more.

The game itself plays as an over-the-shoulder third-person shooter and seems to feature very Titanfall-esque combat. The recently released trailer shows a whole lot of that combat, along with some base customization and an intro to the storyline.

Bounty Star will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox platforms (launching day one on Game Pass), Switch, and PC and launches in 2023.
