Podcast Episode 7

In this week’s podcast, we’re excited to be joined by Mad Max cosplayer extraordinaire Jim “Tank” Dorsey and Faye Murman, who is currently creating a documentary all about Tank’s incredible life.

A small sample of Tank’s credentials include tour manager for The Misfits, professional wrestler, DJ, and international cosplayer. While he’s played many roles, he’s probably most famous for his cosplay portrayal of the Lord Humungus from the second Mad Max film: The Road Warrior. In fact, his Lord Humungus is so convincing that photos of him in the costume have mistakenly been used in place of real clips from the film. Tank even befriended the real Lord Humungus actor, Kjell Nilsson, who appears quite a bit in the documentary.

You can find the YouTube playlist of the video version of the podcast here and the audio version embedded below or here. We also have links to both versions on the top menu bar of the main website.

Shawn is the former Editor-in-Chief at Massively.com, creator of the Aftermath post-apocalyptic immersion event, and author of "AI For All," a guide to navigating this strange new world of artificial intelligence.
He currently resides on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with his wife and four children.
