NewsNation’s interview with David Grusch will take place on Sunday night, June 11, at 8 p.m. Central/9 p.m. Eastern. Coulthart has indicated that he has about seven hours of raw footage, so more may be aired after this at some point. Following the special, NewsNation will air a brand new special report about the UFO whistleblower, so you’ll want to stay tuned for the full two hours.

What is NewsNation?

If you’re not familiar with NewsNation, you’re not alone. That’s because it changed its name officially in March 2021, so it really hasn’t been around that long. NewsNation was previously known as WGN America since 2008, and Superstation WGN before that. People are a lot more familiar with the WGN name, which has been around since 1978.

WGN used to broadcast a mix of news, children’s programming, public affairs, religious programming, and sports. For awhile, the local WGN Chicago station and the national stations ran the same programming, until they started deviating in the 1990s and late 2000s. Then in late 2020, the channel began converting into a news channel with a three-hour primetime show called NewsNation.

Today, NewsNation runs news for 24 hours a day on weekdays (and eight hours a day on weekends), and it’s owned by Nexstar Media Group. NewsNation describes itself as an unbiased news source that strives to share a wide range of perspectives.

As for Sunday night’s interview, Coulthart will be talking with David Grusch, who sparked international attention this week when he came forward with claims that the U.S. government has a top-secret department that has been hiding a UFO craft retrieval program, even from the government’s own AARO team
