Confusing, Potential Endgame ARG Clues

OK, so essentially, the book is FULL of weblinks that may or may not be helpful in your search for $500k. But a few people have solved one of the first puzzles (or so they say — can you trust everything you read on the Internet?)

To help get you started, so you don’t get discouraged & give up, look for a website associated with El 12 12 12. A quick Google search showed us that this is pretty important to the game! We know 12/12/12 was one of the supposed dates that the world was going to end, according to the Mayans (who one of the ancient bloodlines, the Olmecs, are connected to.) And El is another word for God. So there’s a lot of mythology in this series.

When you find the right website, you’ll have to hunt for a password. Don’t be fooled – this isn’t easy! A few things that might help… Look for the question associated with the website. The answer to this question will help you find the password. You might have to hunt around YouTube for videos related to the website. Is anything said in the video that could relate to the website’s question?

Yes, this is all a little vague – but that’s part of the fun. Don’t give up! I got into the website, but don’t know if it’s a red herring or the real thing.

      1. That’s a really good point! I definitely could have worded that better. A better way to think of it is, “WHO wasn’t crazy but is correct?” Is there a YouTube video where they talk about this? (NOT a Stella video.)

      I read these replies but I don’t understand if a clu is in the video of “El” (18min). I listen but, not have a very good level for understand all of what I hear… :/
      So where can I search to find this pw ?
      (WHO wasn’t crazy but is correct? I think the Mayas or Players but don’t work..)

          1. It is SUPER weird. A lot of those videos are creepy. I haven’t seen any other big connections with the video, but I could be wrong.

      1. Well, I’m not sure if they have a Spanish version of the password or not. But I can tell you that the one I used is in English. It’s five words, all lower case, no spaces.

      1. Hey, it never says specifically that the answer can be found on the book cover. I think people just kind of stumbled onto it while looking for clues. And like others said, there’s a YouTube video too I think. The 121212 website is one of the websites listed at the end of the book.
