Chainsaw Man’s third episode premieres this Tuesday, October 25, 2022. The second episode was even better than the first, introducing us to several new compelling characters, and mixing in some much-needed humorous elements into the story. So when is the next episode airing? You’ll definitely want to tune in right when drops so you’re not spoiled about anything. We’re provided live countdown timers in the story below to exactly when the new episode drops in the U.S.

Hype isn’t dying down at all for Chainsaw Man, so you’ll no doubt be interested in a countdown timer for Episode 3, even if you already used timers for the first two episodes.
In the U.S., Chainsaw Man Episode 3 (the English sub) premieres at 9 a.m. Pacific on Crunchyroll and Hulu on Tuesday, October 25. In other time zones, that’s 10 a.m. Mountain, 11 a.m. Central, and 12 p.m. Eastern.
We personally prefer the countdown timer that we created from TickCounter. It’s embedded below, and is responsive to mobile devices. So whatever device you’re using to read this article, the countdown timer should work for you.
Leave this page up and running until Chainsaw Man drops, so you don’t forget how close the new episode is from premiering. This is in relation to the English subtitled episode, not the dubs, which are releasing later.
Don’t forget to avoid YouTube and other social media for about an hour before the episode drops. This is because it releases a little earlier in Japan, so there might be spoilers.
Backup Live Timer
The first timer should work just fine, but you never know with technology. That’s why we’re providing a second backup timer just in case. But keep in mind — this one isn’t quite as good as the one in the first section. It may not be responsive to all devices. That means if you’re viewing it on your phone, you might need to hold your phone horizontally in landscape mode to see the timer correctly.
This one below is from TimeandDate.com.
Don’t forget, this is a countdown to when the English subtitled episode drops, not the dubs.
Sometimes the Server Crashes
Keep in mind that sometimes the episode won’t appear the moment the countdown timer ends. This has happened before on Crunchyroll if the servers can’t handle so many people trying to watch at once. (It’s available on both Crunchyroll and Hulu in the U.S.)
If that happens, you may need to wait 15 to 30 minutes before it shows up. You can try a few workarounds though, like going to Episode 2 and continuing to watch past the end, to see if it automatically jumps to Episode 3. (This sometimes works on some devices even if the new episode doesn’t show on the contents list.)
You can also try watching on a different device and see if that helps. Or switch from Hulu to Crunchyroll or vice versa.
Chainsaw Man News
According to the official website for the anime, a full “movie” of sorts has been released to go along with the Episode 2 ending song.
The ending song was called “Zanki” by Zutto Midonaka li Nini.
Chainsaw Man’s official website hasn’t provided a title or synopsis yet for Episode 3. The website tends to hold those details closer to the vest until the episode drops.
