The Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8 English Sub Premieres Sunday at 12:45 p.m. Pacific
If you’re wanting to watch the English sub of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 7 in the U.S., then you’ll be tuning in Sunday, January 31 at 12:45 p.m. Pacific. In other time zones, this translates to 1:45 p.m. Mountain, 2:45 p.m. Central, and 3:45 p.m. Eastern on Sunday. In Honolulu, Hawaii, that’s Sunday at 10:45 a.m. In Anchorage, Alaska, that’s Sunday at 11:45 a.m.
Don’t forget that only the sub of the new episode is premiering on Sunday, January 31. The dub is premiering at a later date. On January 31, the English dub for Season 4 Episode 4 will be airing on Funimation and Toonami. So it will be about a month before the English dub for Episode 8 is out. This is the main disadvantage for viewers who are trying to watch just the dub versions — they’re about a month behind everyone else.
The Japanese-Only Version Airs Early, So Avoid Social Media If You Don’t Want Spoilers
Episode 8 will premiere in Japan without English subtitles at 12:10 a.m. Japan time, which is a few hours before it premieres with English subtitles in the United States. This leaves time for people who speak Japanese to enjoy the episode and post about it. If you want to avoid spoilers, then try to avoid social media for a few hours before the English sub premieres. This is the reason why you might see spoilers before the episode’s available on your typical streaming service. It’s not because it leaked and you missed it, but because the non-sub version drops early.
Here’s a Countdown to Season 4 Episode 8, ‘Assassin’s Bullet’
Last week, we witnessed an intense battle between Paradis and the Eldians of Marley. Eren eventually realized that the only way to break through the Warhammer Titan’s crystallized shell was by using Porco’s Jaw Titan. He tore the Jaw Titan limb from limb and essentially used his head as a nutcracker. It was dark, but war is very dark.
Levi made quick work of the Beast Titan when he was distracted by Armin’s epic appearance as Colossal. But then Levi ignited a grenade and disappeared, leaving some fans wondering if Zeke is really dead or not. At the end of the episode, Reiner transformed into the Armor Titan, but he seemed to lack some of his traditional armor. As he made a comment about wanting to die in peace, fans were left wondering if he’s really going to fight Eren or not.
