Luckily for us, The History Channel has blessed us with a new spin-off of the series set in a very cold part of the world: Northern Labrador. Here are the details on when Alone: Frozen will air.

Alone: Frozen Premieres New Episodes on Thursday Nights

The all-new Alone: Frozen will premiere on Thursday, August 11 at 9 p.m. Eastern/ 8 p.m. Central. In the Mountain time zone, that’s 7 p.m., and it’s 6 p.m. Pacific on the West Coast.

Each show can be streamed the next day on History.com.

Six of the most fearsome competitors from past seasons of Alone are brought back for a second go-around in the competition titled “Alone: Frozen” to demonstrate how well they can hold their own in the wilderness.

The contestants are being dropped off on the icy North Atlantic Coast of Labrador, Canada, the same region where Alone Season 9 was just filmed. But in this case, they’re being dropped off just as winter is starting. These survivalists will try to last fifty days in a place with the most polar bears in Canada. According to History Channel, they will have to deal with “battling howling winds, constant rain, and North America’s most fierce cold-weather predators.”

They will contend with harsh circumstances that are more difficult than those seen in any prior season of Alone. The survivalists who are able to complete the full challenge with just a restricted number of resources and the knowledge that they’ve gathered from their previous experiences will be eligible to get a piece of the monetary reward pot that is set at $500,000.
