Some fans are truly excited that The Shannara Chronicles is coming back, while other fans — disappointed that it just doesn’t compare to the books — could pretty much take it or leave it. Which camp do you fall in?

The Shannara Chronicles returns October 11 at 10 p.m. Eastern. But it won’t be on MTV this time. Now it’s coming to Spike TV (which will be rebranded as Paramount Network in January.) (If you haven’t seen Season 1 yet, you can watch it on Amazon here.)

My biggest question is whether Amberle is gone for good. Last season she turned into a tree, but I’m not ready to give up on her yet. I took a lot of screenshots from the trailer, and isn’t this her?

So yeah, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Amberle, in my opinion.
