Unity Days 2018: It’s Officially A Thing:

This past March I was lucky enough to do a quick q & a with Unity Days co-founder Leana Santos about Unity Days 2017 and the possibility of a 2018 event. At the time she simply said that it was in the works, but now? Now all of that hard work has paid off. Unity Days 2018 is officially a go!

“We’re thrilled to be coming back to Vancouver for Unity Days! It’s all possible because of the love and support from The 100 fans and the cast. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in 2018.”—Leana Santos.

Same, girl. Same.

This year is scheduled a bit differently with a more intimate guest list being split between two days instead of having the entire crew (kru?) around for the entire weekend, creating a more manageable and less overwhelming guest experience. After all, give us options and we want them all.

Saturday January 20th brings us panels, meet and greets, photo ops, and autograph sessions with Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Lindsey Morgan, and Nadia Hilker while Sunday gives us the same opportunities with Marie Avgeropoulos, Zach McGowan, Tasya Teles, and Sanchin Sahel. I don’t know about you but I can think of much worse ways to spend a weekend than surrounded by beautiful people-and I’m not just talking about the cast.

If you think that only the cast are having panels, you’re wrong. A few of my fellow #PressKru lovelies have been asked to host a reviewer’s panel to speak about their experiences writing about the show and how they got started. If you’re a fan of reviewers such as Selina Wilken, Yana Grebenyuk, and Tiffany Vogt then this is definitely something you should check out.

Unity Days is once again taking place at the beautiful Pinnacle Hotel Vancouver Harbourfront January 19th-21st, 2018 and when you book through the link at unityeventscanada.com, you are able to book at a special rate. Very doable with a roomie or two, plus let be real, meeting fandom friends is half the fun! I’m a big planner so of course I’ve already snooped on the hotel website and hello, hotel bar and indoor pool! You’ll know where to find me when I’m not taking 1542355 photos and trying to seem like I know what I’m doing as #PressKru and being totally cool about everything. Clearly.

This sure to be amazing weekend is brought to us by the group of ladies (and gent) behind Unity Days: Leana Santos, Miah Bannerman, Linda Suurhuff, and Shayne Bannerman who have worked tirelessly to bring the much in demand event back to us. They have partnered with CancerGetsLost (Jo Garfein is back as the panel moderator for a second year!) as well as Talk Nerdy With Us, JinMedia, and RayCom. We wouldn’t be able to have this opportunity without each and every one of their support.  From the bottom of my fangirl heart, thank you for all that you’ve done to make this possible.
