Stream the Chainsaw Man Episode 8 English Dub Online
Chainsaw Man Episode 8’s English dub drops on Tuesday, December 13 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific. In different time zones, that’s 1:30 p.m. Mountain/2:30 p.m. Central/3:30 p.m. Eastern. It’s not released at the same time as the new subs are, but a few hours later.
In the U.S., the fastest way to catch the new dub is on Crunchyroll. You won’t be able to find it on Funimation (even though Attack on Titan’s dubs were added there) because the two platforms are merging soon. And you won’t be able to find it on Hulu either. At least not until sometime after the season is over.
To watch the Chainsaw Man Episode 8’s English dub on Crunchyroll: Click here to go to Crunchyroll’s Chainsaw Man page. Change the dropdown menu to “Chainsaw Man S1 – English Dub” so you’re seeing the dubs and not the subs, which are a couple episodes ahead. The new dub will be added here as soon as it’s available. Other dropdown menus will show options for watching dubs in other languages.
Crunchyroll has free trials for new users. You can find the free trial options here. They include 14-day free trials for Fan, Mega Fan, and Ultimate Fan accounts. All three include no ads.
Watch Chainsaw Man Episode 8’s Dub on Amazon
Chainsaw Man’s English dub will also be on Amazon Prime, but it won’t drop at the same time that it drops on Crunchyroll. It will be added sometime later, and it’s not clear if it’s later on the same day or just sometime later in the same week.
Amazon Prime has English dubs for Chainsaw Man here. For some reason, Episodes 6, 2, and 3 don’t include subtitles or audio languages on the listing, and we’re not sure why. But if you prefer Amazon Prime, then Episode 8’s dub should be added here before too long. Episode 7 is already there and it includes the English dub and subtitles. If you want to make the whole process a little easier, you can purchase the entire season at that same link, and you’ll be automatically notified when the new episodes are dropped with a TV Season Pass.
Chainsaw Man Episodes 1 through 9 are also available in non-dub form on Amazon Prime, but those are the Japanese versions.
Episode 7 Recap
Unfortunately due to illness and the holidays, we weren’t able to write a review for Episode 7. But you can read a brief recap of what happened (with spoilers) below.
There are spoilers below for Episode 7.
The episode started out with everyone waiting while Denji had a long fight with the Eternity Devil. We learned that Denji can drink Devil’s blood and power up, basically allowing himself to fight a long time. He ended up inflicting so much pain on the Eternity Devil that it gave up and let him kill it.
As Himeno’s mentor shared, the best Devil Hunters are the ones that are a little crazy, because this causes the Devils to fear them. That’s definitely Denji.
Next we had a get-together party with everyone from Division 4, and a bunch of new people we hadn’t met before. First, there’s Fushi, who has a fiend of his own who is too unreasonable to take out in public. He was in charge of a rookie at one point, kind of like Aki. We don’t learn the names of the other people who were at the party, but hopefully we’ll learn more about them soon.
We learned that Denji is 16 (if he’s remembering right), so he’s the youngest of the group. Hirokazu Arai is 22 and he has a contract with the Fox Devil too. His hobby is writing haiku. Kobeni is just 20 and has a secret devil contract. Her hobby is “eating tasty things.” She also has eight siblings.
Himeno got drunk and kissed Denji, and there was a super uncomfortable scene where she threw up in his mouth. 😳 Then she brought him home with her and suggested they sleep together. That was where the cliffhanger left off.
