The seventh episode of The Handmaid’s Tale aired last week, and things are getting pretty serious! We can’t wait for the next episode to air and perhaps explain some of the questions we were left with when the last episode concluded. The schedule below will tell you when The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 8 will be available to watch online. Grab your favorite snacks and drinks, it’s probably going to be an intense one!

Season 5 Episode 8 Will be Available Tuesday Night or Early Wednesday Morning

The eighth episode of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale will premiere on Hulu on October 26 at midnight Eastern. Not sure what this time zone means? To make things easy for everyone from coast to coast, here is a bulleted list with the different time zones:

  • Eastern time: 12 a.m. Wednesday, October 26
  • Central time: 11 p.m. Tuesday, October 25
  • Mountain time: 10 p.m. October 25
  • Pacific time: 9 p.m. October 25
  • Alaska: 8 p.m. October 25

Consequently, those on the West Coast and in Hawaii are more likely to watch the program before bed as opposed to staying up late. If you’re part of the lucky ones, you may see the show on Tuesday evening, while others may not view it until Wednesday. But one thing’s sure: avoid reading spoilers! That is the most difficult thing to do when others can see the show before you. Stay away from social media!

How to Watch S5E8 Online

Hulu has the most current episodes if you wish to catch up after missing them. The eighth episode of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale may be seen in the same way as the previous seven episodes.

You can locate “The Handmaid’s Tale” by logging in and doing a search. If you so want, you may immediately begin Season 5. If you have already seen the first seven episodes, you may skip to the eighth.

(If you are positive that Episode 8 has been published but it does not appear in the menu, you may use the following method to make it appear: watch Episode 7 and fast-forward to the finish; if Episode 8 is available, Hulu will take you there.)

The Handmaid’s Tale is not accessible on any other streaming service, including Amazon Video and YouTube, and there are no plans to add it to Netflix. At the very least, over an extended time frame. This makes perfect sense given that The Handmaid’s Tale is a Hulu original series.

If you do not already have Hulu, you may immediately join up for a monthly subscription. When Live TV and Disney+ are combined, one of the available packages becomes a very attractive proposition. Students might potentially subscribe to Hulu for $2.99 per month. Click this link to find out whether you qualify for one of these incredible bargains.

What Happened Last Week

Check out what happened last week below, with spoilers.

Last week, the entire episode was focused on June and Serena. And while I was kind of dreading not seeing any other characters, they ended up pulling off a really compelling story.

The episode was a major push-pull between Serena and June, with Serena constantly thinking that June was out to get her. But June reminded her that she could have killed her several days/weeks ago, if she really wanted to. But the truth is — she doesn’t want to kill Serena.

In some ways, the episode made me sad. We saw flashbacks of Serena and June actually getting along during June’s early days as her Handmaid. It reminded me of some other episodes when Serena developed a conscience and treated June better. If Serena’s eyes had only been opened to what was going on around her — if she’d only allowed herself to see the truth — she could have treated June so well and made a torturous situation a little less horrific. But instead, Serena was just another abuser, and actually orchestrated June’s rape.

That’s why I couldn’t have sympathy for Serena in this episode. She’s vulnerable now, so she’s trying to connect with the most powerful person around her, which is June. I don’t think June is actually falling for Serena’s machinations, though. We’re simply witnessing June begin to heal. She’s come a long way, and I think this healing is going to help her be better at fighting Gilead in the long run.
