It was just a couple of weeks ago that Norman Reedus was injured on the set of The Walking Dead. Now another injury has been reported in The Walking Dead universe, this time on the set of Tales of the Walking Dead.
Production Was Suspended & the Crew Member Was Sent to the Hospital
The injury was bad enough that production was temporarily suspended after the crew member was sent to the hospital, Deadline reported. The accident happened in Atlanta, Georgia, around 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, April 4. Production had already wrapped, but the accident still happened on set in the Stone Mountain Park region.
Deadline reported that a crew member fell into the water and had to be taken to the hospital after an accident occurred with a plank that connected a riverboat to the pier. Sources said she fell off the deck, hit the lower railing, hit the dock, and then fell into the lake. She wasn’t able to swim, so she had to be rescued by the safety crew.
Variety reported that she had to be taken to the hospital via ambulance, but she’s in stable condition now.
Production has already resumed after it was suspended for one day. Deadline reported that the boat involved in the accident has been used before on the Ozark series.
Tales of the Walking Dead Is Bringing in a Variety of Actors for the Series
The Walking Dead fans are excited about the new Tales of the Walking Dead anthology series that’s in the works. The cast involved with the series includes Terry Crews, Anthony Edwards, Parker Posey, Jillian Bell, Poppy Liu, William J. Simmons, and more.

The series will last for six episodes and is officially greenlit to premiere in the summer. Scott Gimple is executive producing the series and Channing Powell is the showrunner.
Michael Satrazemis is directing three of the episodes, and Tara Nicole Weyr, Haiffa al-Mansour, and Deborah Kampmeier are each directing one, Variety reported.
