The newest episode of Attack on Titan, Episode 84 or Season 4 Episode 25, is dropping this Sunday, March 6, 2022. Called “Night of the End,” this will likely be the beginning of things really heating up since the last episode slowed down a bit to give viewers a chance to catch their breaths. To help you get ready for the episode, we’re providing a countdown in the story below.

Attack on Titan Countdown Timer for Season 4 Episode 25

Season 4 Episode 25 (the English subtitled version) drops at 12:45 p.m. Pacific on Sunday, February 20 (2:45 p.m. Central/3:45 p.m. Eastern) in the United States. Note that there is a small chance the episode will premiere five minutes late due to a five-minute delay in Japan that day.

We’ve provided a timer from from TickCounter embedded below, which is timed to the expected release.

The above timer is counting down to when the English sub episode is scheduled to drop on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation, as long as there’s not a five-minute delay. If the servers at any of the streaming platforms are overloaded, the episode might be delayed by a few minutes on that platform only.

A version without subtitles always airs on TV on NHK in Japan a few hours before it’s available in the U.S. Because of this, spoilers are abundant everywhere before the episode drops. So try to avoid social media until the official subtitled episode is available on Funimation, Hulu, or Crunchyroll.

If the above timer doesn’t work, we have another that you can use in the next section below.

A Backup Countdown Timer Is Below

If the timer embedded in the section above doesn’t work for you, you can also use the live countdown below, from TimeandDate.co. This second one may not always be responsive to different devices, so if it doesn’t show up as well on your screen, try holding your device horizontally instead of vertically.

Attack on Titan’s subs air in the U.S. on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. If you’re not a Funimation subscriber, you can sign up here.

A brief synopsis of last week with spoilers is below.

Last week’s episode, “Pride,” was another slower-paced episode that gave the characters and viewers a chance to catch their collective breaths as we get ready for things to get intense again. It was the calm before the storm, so to speak. (Although technically, the storm — aka the Rumbling — has already started.) Hange, Levi, Pieck and Magath formed an uneasy truce as the “enemy of my enemy is my friend” was never more appropriate.

Levi is still obsessed with killing Zeke, which might ultimately stop Eren. The ongoing theory right now is that Eren still needs Zeke to carry out the Founder’s power.

Meanwhile, Armin was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure that a new Titan war didn’t break out between Gabi and the Marleyan Titans, who are now on Paradis with them. He was ready to jump into Connie’s Titan mom’s mouth in order to save Falco. Connie saved Armin and realized that his desperation to save his mom had clouded his judgment, as heartbreaking as that might be.

Mikasa reclaimed her scarf from Louise and treated her every beat as coldly as Eren had treated Mikasa. It was a sad scene.

Annie’s reunion was funny, if not a bit anticlimactic, when Armin, Jean, Connie, Gabi, and the others accidentally sat next to her while she was eating. Armin, as expected, came to her defense, and everyone was a little overly casual about seeing the person who murdered their friends again. But then again, it has been four years and a lot has changed since then. Now they’re forming an uneasy alliance too.

Gabi ultimately keeps the promise she made while Reiner was sleeping, and brings the entire gang to him so they can “save the world.”

But at the same time, Floch is getting drunk on power. Jean thwarted him for now so they could escape, but how long will that last?
