The Last Stand: Aftermath is a game that has hovered in our radar for a while now, and we’re excited to see that is finally has a release date.

The Last Stand: Aftermath is the latest game in The Last Stand series, originally announced back in 2018 and successfully Kickstarted late last year, blowing away its $50k goal with a grand total of $60,269 raised.

The game’s main premise centers around a group of survivors emerging from their shelter to face the hordes of zombies outside. But you don’t play as one character; you play as the entire group, one by one. Each time you set out to make your last stand, you help the next character progress.

It’s inevitable that every character will die, so don’t get too attached, but the fun is how you will die and how you will learn from your mistakes to make your next run more successful. You live, you die, you live again. It’s so Mad Max.

The original series consisted of four Flash games created by Chris Condon. The games were such a hit back when they released that they’ve developed a cult following of sorts.

This brand new trailer shows off the gorgeous art style, intensity of battle, and more of what we can expect from the story.

The Last Stand: Aftermath will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and X Series consoles on November 16, 2021.
