You Can Watch the Premiere Now on AMC+
You’ve likely heard of so many people being able to watch The Walking Dead Season 11 premiere for free so far because they’re watching on AMC+, which is AMC’s premium streaming service. AMC+ decided to offer the premiere a full week before Episode 1 airs on TV, so you can watch it now if you want. The even better news is that you can even watch with a free trial if you’re not currently subscribed.
You can sign up for a free trial for seven days at this link. Plans then start at $4.99/month for AMC Plus.
If Amazon is your preference, you can stream The Walking Dead here and sign up for a free seven-day trial. Thereafter, plans start at $8.99/month.
AMC+ can be watched on a number of devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, your computer, any iPhone or Android tablet, Apple TV, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and more.
The first episode of Season 11 is called “Acheron: Part 1.”
The final season of The Walking Dead will have 24 episodes total, released in three parts. Part A will consist of eight episodes. Comicbook.com reported that viewers who are subscribed to AMC+ will be able to watch every episode one week early.
Scott Gimple said about the final season: “It’s a big story and it takes a lot of turns. We reinvent every eight episodes.”
The Series Finale Airs in 2022
The series finale is going to air in 2022.
For this entire season, new episodes will be released a week early on AMC+ (this is a week earlier than they air on TV in the U.S. on AMC, or on Disney+ in the UK.) So if you want to make sure you aren’t spoiled, you’ll want to sign up for AMC Plus.
But of course, the show’s series finale won’t be the end of The Walking Dead universe. A spinoff involving Daryl and Carol is already in the works. AMC is also planning a Tales of The Walking Dead, which would be an episodic anthology. And of course, there are still the movies about Rick Grimes to look forward to, along with Fear the Walking Dead.
