This week, the video game bug has caught on once again as the majority of our round-up is gameplay videos — including a short film made entirely within Grand Theft Auto 5.

But if you’re not into that, we also have a post-apocalyptic fairy tale narration and a clip from one of my favorite movies that released this week. Enjoy!

Post Apocalyptic 4x Strategy Game – Revival: Recolonization
Azjenco takes a deeper look at this 4x Strategy game called Revival: Recolonization in this first impressions video.

By Moonlight: A Post Apocalyptic Fairy Tale : Chapter One
Author Lenise Lee reads her own story that she describes as an “Adventure Paranormal Romance” audiobook. Not only is this a very intriguing story, but the author does a great job taking over the narration role, too.

Days of Doom – Post-apocalyptic PvP RPG Gameplay
This game looks like a simple, yet gorgeous PvP RPG that is shown off here in this gameplay video with no overlaid commentary. That’s a refreshing change if you’re tired of hearing about “smashing that like button” all the time.

Chernobylite | Post Apocalyptic Horror Survival Game
YouTuber CptMK grabbed this early access game on Steam on a whim and quickly realizes that Chernobylite is way more intense than he expected. Come for the jumpscares, stay for the intricate puzzles.

THE EXILE – Post-Apocalyptic Short Film
Gamer Kim took a heavily modded GTA V and made a short film from it. This one is well-shot and interesting, although there’s no dialogue.

Dino Stop Robot Invasion – The Mitchells vs. The Machines | Netflix
My kids and I watched The Mitchells vs. The Machines this week and we all really enjoyed it. This clip is from a scene that lays out the moment when the robots first started enslaving the humans. It’s way funnier than it sounds!

Shawn is the former Editor-in-Chief at Massively.com, creator of the Aftermath post-apocalyptic immersion event, and author of "AI For All," a guide to navigating this strange new world of artificial intelligence.
