Earlier this week, Microsoft laid down $7.5 billion to purchase Bethesda, with a hint that a few new titles were coming to the Xbox and PC Game Pass platform, and today those titles have been revealed.

These 20 titles will be available on Xbox, PC, and Android mobile devices (via xCloud) with special exceptions noted below. These titles include Dishonored: Definitive Edition, Dishonored 2, Doom, Doom II, Doom 64, Doom 3, Doom Eternal, Fallout: New Vegas (except PC), Fallout 4, Fallout 76: Steel Dawn, Prey, Rage 2, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (except mobile), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (except mobile), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls Online (except PC), The Evil Within, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

As you can see, most of these are post-apocalyptic titles, from the selection of the Fallout games to Rage 2 to the Doom series, so we’re especially excited for this acquisition and inclusion on Game Pass.

Microsoft made no secret about the fact that a major reason for this acquisition is the inclusion of some of the world’s top game franchises on to Game Pass. “If you’re an Xbox customer, the thing I want you to know is that this is about delivering great exclusive games for you that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists,” said Microsoft’s Xbox chief, Phil Spencer. “That’s our goal, that’s why we’re doing this, that’s the root of this partnership that we’re building.”

But what many Bethesda fans are worried about is if this means that their favorite games will be disappearing from other non-Microsoft services like Steam. “There’s contractual obligations that we’re going to see through, as we always do in every one of these instances,” Spencer reassured. “We have games that exist on other platforms, and we’re gonna go support those games on the platforms they’re on. There’s communities of players and we love those communities and we’ll continue to invest in them.”

Microsoft’s Game Pass is currently $1 for the first month with PC or Console versions going up to $9.99 each additional month, or you can get Ultimate (which includes PC, Console, Mobile, and Xbox Gold) for $14.99 a month.
