How to Stream Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 (with Links)
The ninth episode of Attack on Titan (the English sub version) drops Sunday, February 7 in the United States at 12:45 p.m. Pacific (3:45 p.m. Eastern/2:45 p.m. Central.) This is a few hours after it premieres in Japan without subtitles. That’s why you might see some people talking about the new episode online before it’s available for you to watch.

Here are the links for where you can stream Episode 9.
To watch the newest episode, you’ll want to go to Funimation’s link and change the dropdown menu to Season 4. The new episode will be listed as Episode 68, “Volunteer.” (This will be available in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Brazil, Mexico.) You’ll need an account to watch the new episodes. If you want to watch with a free account, then you’ll likely have to wait at least a week after the episode airs. Funimation does eventually release the episodes for free account holders, but typically not on the day they air. To get a free account, go to the account signup page and scroll to the bottom of the page until you see a link that reads “Not ready to commit.” Then click on the option to create a free account. Then you’ll have to go to Account Settings and turn off “Restrict Mature Content” before you can watch an episode. But remember, if you want to watch an episode as soon as it airs, you’ll likely need a paid account. But these are pretty inexpensive considering the great content you get.
Crunchyroll: Season 4 Episode 9 (sub) will drop here once it’s available (and it will be listed as Episode 68.) You can only watch for free on Crunchyroll if you are using a free trial, otherwise you’ll only be able to see a clip of the episode. (And even then, it’s possible that the newest episode won’t be available right away for free account holders.) If you sign up for a subscription for unlimited ad-free anime so you can see the episode right away, it’s just $9.99 a month, so that might worthwhile for you. (This service is available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, LATAM, Middle East, and Russia).
Hulu: Hulu will post Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 9 (sub) here once it’s online. Hulu’s servers tend to be the most stable for watching new Attack on Titan episodes if you’re most interested in watching right when they premiere without any glitches or issues. However, Hulu sometimes gets the English subtitled episode a few minutes later than Crunchyroll or Funimation. Hulu has a two-week trial if you want to try it out.
At Post Apocalyptic Media, we prefer to promote legal streaming so the creators and all the people involved can make money off the episodes. They’re so talented that we really want them to benefit from our views, so they can have an accurate count of how many watch the episodes. This also helps with getting approvals for renewing the show for extra seasons if needed. 🙂
How to Watch the English Dub for Season 4 Episode 9

Looking Back on Episode 8
There are spoilers below for Episode 8.
Last week was heartbreaking, and I’m still reeling from the loss of Sasha. Her love of food was something I could really relate to, and I honestly felt like Sasha most resembled what I might be in real life if I were in that situation. So her death was particularly hard for me. 🙁 Not to mention that it just felt so senseless. She hadn’t chosen to kill Gabi earlier when she could have, so Gabi repaired her by killing her on the airship. My only hope is that with the reveal of Zeke, Gabi’s brainwashing might start to fade away. Falco’s already on board with not following this endless Marleyan cycle of war, so let’s hope we can get Gabi on board too.
Meanwhile, a lot of people are very mad at Eren. But the truth is that Eren dealt a harsh blow to Marley in their war against Paradis, and now Paradis has a distinct advantage.
