The Brand New Post Apocalyptic Media: New Website, New Content

A Bomb explodes on a computer screen with a box

Just blow it up. We’ll start from scratch.

A Whole New Post Apocalyptic Media

We’ve spent the last several weeks giving the Post Apocalyptic Media website a complete redesign from top to bottom. It’s easier to find stuff now and has a more professional style (we think). We’ve been smarter with our ads, too. Which gives us a better chance of making this a full time gig.

But there are a few drawbacks. First, the website loads really slow sometimes. At the slowest, it can be around 15 seconds for a page. It’s usually less than 3 seconds, though, so we feel we can figure out this problem and fix it. We are currently trying four different theories. We know it isn’t the theme and the server is top tier, so it’s probably user error. Also, the counters stopped working when we turned on CDN and caching. It looks like we have way fewer views than we’re getting. We’re working to fix that too.

The changes you see are just the beginning. We’re also putting together a weekly newsletter soon, and starting a Youtube channel.

There’s a lot going on in the world of zombies, nuclear wastelands, and alien invasions, and it’s hard to keep track of everything. We sift through Twitter feeds and Google alerts – trying to stay on top of it all. Then we report the important stuff to you.

So if you like end-of-the-world scenarios, go ahead and subscribe to get our email updates. Also, if you’re a Twitter person, follow @PostApocalypt to get up-to-the-minute info.
